The Crystal City Pee-Wee
Football League met and voted to approve the following fundraisers for
the 2009 league season:
1.
Bucket
Brigade - This year’s Bucket Brigade (Highway Robbery) will be on
Saturday, September 19, 2009 between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm. We will hold
event at the following Traffic Light intersections, Veterans Avenue and
Crockett, 7th Avenue and Crockett and Veterans Avenue and
Lake Street. We are asking for team players, assistant coaches and
parents to participate at said event. We will meet at the Dairy Kreme
promptly at 8:00am at which time we will break up into 3 groups and
designate each group to a Traffic Light intersection. Please notify
everyone participating to bring a bucket, can or something that can be
used to hold the money.
2.
Corporate
Sponsorship – We are asking every head coach to solicit a corporate
sponsor for the league this year. We are requesting a minimum donation
of $100.00. Corporate Sponsors will be placed in our game booklet and
will be announced throughout the duration of the games held. We can
also advertise a banner (provided by the company) at every game. The
donation will go directly to the league to help pay for new uniforms,
equipment and administrative costs. Please note that donations are for
the entire league and not a particular team. Make sure check is made
out to the league. Deadline for sponsorship request is set for October
2, 2009 at 5:00 pm in order to prepare program game booklets and have
ready for the games.
