Pee-Wee Football Association
GAME RULES
 

1.                  Football needs to be snapped through the center’s leg to be considered a Valid Play.

2.                  Player weighing more than 125lbs - (offense) can’t be in the back field; (must be on the line) Can not go out for a pass.- (Defense) cannot advance the ball (Interception or fumble)

3.                  Trick plays need to be reported to an official before the team lines up in formation.

4.                  There will be 3 time outs per half- -1 given in over time.

5.                  Kickoff will be from the 40 Yard line

6.                  No jewelry on game field

7.                  No rush on punts and field goal try

8.                  No communication signals or device can be used between coaches and fans to help give advantage to a team.

9.                  2 pass attempts need to be made per half- before 2 minute warning- officials can notify you of attempts made.

10.              Defenses can only have a maximum of five (5) players on the line, before the ball is snapped. They need to be on a three or four point stand. No standing rush.

11.              10 minute Half time

12.              Only 1 head coach – 4 assistants can be on the field

13.              Mouth pieces in mouth at all times on the playing field

14.              Team winning by three TD’s- Coach needs to substitute the back field. No Running up the score.

 

 

                                                          Flag Football Rules

GENERAL
            A.    Seven players are allowed on the field or play at one time. A team may play with
                    less than seven, but must start with five.
            B.
      Kick off will take place from the 40 yd line. No onside kicks- Receiving team will get possession
            C.    There must be three players on the line of scrimmage, before the start of a play.
            D.
      Quarterback CAN NOT run or advance the ball- QB has 5 seconds to either hand-off or pass. Failure to do so will be a loss of down 
            E.
        All Players must Play
FIELD
          
A.   In case of inclement weather, referee or Board member will make the call to cancel.
BLOCKING
          
A.   No blocking above the neck or below the waist.
           B.   Blockers must maintain contact with the ground while blocking.
PASSING
           A.   A pass is complete if the receiver has one foot inbounds.

PUNTING

           A.   There must be four players from each team on the line of scrimmage at the time of the punt attempt.
DOWNING AN OPPONENT
           A.   The player carrying the ball is considered down when one or both of his flags are removed.
           B.   No holding an opponent while trying to remove their flag.
           C.   Tacklers may not leave their feet to remove a flag.
           D.   There will be a 15 yd penalty for anyone deliberately wrapping their flag around their belt to prevent removal.
 
           E.   The defensive player who has de-flagged the player with the ball must stop and hold the flag over his or her head at the spot
                 and stay where he or she is.
RUNNING
            A.   Stiff-arming and flag-guarding are not allowed. A player may only spin, duck, jump or move in another direction to avoid being
                  de-flagged
PLAYING TIME

            A.   Games are limited to a maximum of 40 minutes, divided into 2 halves of 20 minutes each. There will be a 5 minute Halftime
            B.   Time will run continuously throughout the game, and stopped on requested time outs or injuries only.
            C.   If a team does not have at least 5 players ready to play, the game will be declared a forfeit.
            D.   Teams are entitled to two one minute time outs for each half. (Game Clock stopped for 60 seconds)
            E.   No substitutions shall enter the game during a down.
            F.   PLAYERS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE GAME FOR: Unsportsmanlike conduct and/or flagrant fouling. The referees will not be subject
                  to abusive language. They will penalize any team 15 yards for such behaviors.
